The Ile aux Cerfs day tour starts with a boat transfer to Ile aux Cerfs Island. The boat transfer is done in the comfortable spacious motor boat, and the trip takes about 15 minutes.
The boat transfers to Ile aux Cerfs are provided every 20 minutes, accordingly you benefit maximum flexibility on the exact time you can start / end the tour.
As you approach the island by boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters.
Once you reach Ile aux Cerfs you will be guided to the famous Ile aux Cerfs Sands Bar where you will start your Ile aux Cerfs experience with a refreshing fruit cocktail.

North Island:

The north of the island is best known for its white sandy beaches and calm lagoons. It has the biggest number of beach resorts and is the most developed part of the Mauritian coastline.

Grand Baie is the centre of life in the north. It has everything of a modern beach resort with its shops, galleries, shopping centres, hotels and bungalows along its emerald green waters bay. 

Péreybère is a small resort with one of the best bathing places of the island. It is one of the most popular resorts and has a big number of bungalows and some small hotels and restaurants. 

Cap Malheureux was where the English landed in 1810 to conquer the island. It is a small fishermans village with a small beach and some very beautiful views of the northern islets as backdrop to a very charming little chapel.   

Choisy beach is one of the longest in Mauritius. Its beautiful lagoon is shaded by casuarinas trees and on the contrary of the other beaches it has no hotels or bungalows.

Trou Aux Biches is a small village with a very long and beautiful beach. Most of it is bordered by the Trou Aux Biches Hotel, which has a golf course and a casino.     

The Pamplemousses Botanical Garden found in the village of Pamplemousses, is one of the most visited attractions in Mauritius. It was under French intendant Pierre Poivre that the garden really started off as the botanical garden famous over the world for its variety of rare tropical plants. Discover incredible colonial architecture with the Château Mon Plaisir. It was built by Mahé de Laboudonnais as the official Governor residence during the French period.

La Nicolière is a lake found on higher grounds from the north vast plains. It has some forests and also offers some very beautiful views of the northern region with its mosaic of sugarcane fields. Not far from there you have the region of Congomah, which has some beautiful views of the Moka range of mountain towards Port Louis.    

Gabriel and Flat Island are two islets which offer virgin white beaches encircled with crystal clear blue waters. You can cruise to these Islets on one of the sailboats. .

South Island:
The South of Mauritius is famous for its many nature reserves, breathtaking scenery, wild nature, mountains, parks and plenty of attractions and sights to visit.

BEST TIME TO VISIT 
Mauritius enjoys a relatively mild climate. Although temperatures are rather moderate throughout the year with occasional rainfall, the most pleasant times to visit the island are between the months of April and June and between September and December. Summer: November to April. The weather is hot and humid during these months, with peaks in temperatures occurring in the months of December, January and February. Rainfall is abundant, especially on the central plateau. The highest rainfall normally occurs in the months of February and March. This is the best time for scuba diving – especially December through to March – and for deep-sea fishing. Winter: May to October. The temperature is cooler during this season. The lowest temperatures are felt in August (20°C on the coast). This is the best season for surfing (June to August).
