Package Itinerary
Day 01 - Delhi – Agra
On arrival at “Safdarjung Railway Station, Delhi” you will received with a grand traditional welcome by our tour manager and the crew of Maharajas' Express train. Freshen up, relax for a couple hours and get ready to proceed to Agra; en route, you will enjoy scrumptious on-board brunch in the Maharaja dining - restaurants named “Mayur Mahal” and “Rang Mahal”.
Spend your night in the comforts of the palatial train and open your eyes to the alluring city of Agra on the Maharajas' Express.
Day 02 - Agra
On day 2, you will arrive in the city of marvelous architecture, glorious history and vivid flavors named Agra. The ultimate luxury tour of Rajasthan and Agra begins with a visit to Taj Mahal, get mesmerised with the beauty of an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna River. You will then have a Champagne breakfast on the roof of Taj Khema.
You can either visit the Mausoleum of Itmad-ud-Daula also known as the “Jewel Box” or rest at the comfort of Maharajas' Express after breakfast. You can also pay a visit to the secluded ancient Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Have your lunch on-board with international delicacies.
A visit to Agra Fort will be scheduled for you post lunch. You can also opt to feel relaxed and rejuvenated at spa, in a 5-star hotel or go for shopping.
Return back to the luxury train or enjoy watching The Taj Show called "Mohabbat."
Enjoy the sumptuous on-board dinner and bid goodbye to Agra and prepare to welcome the state of royal lineage, Rajasthan with Sawai Madhopur.
Day 03 - Ranthambore – Jaipur
The Maharajas' Express will reach Sawai Madhopur on the third day. Then you will go for an adventurous drive at Ranthambore National Park, where you will spot the majestic tiger amidst the greenery. After that back to your luxury trains to have a hearty breakfast in the princely ambience on-board. You will then leave for Jaipur. Enjoy royal cuisine at lunch on-board.
After arriving at Jaipur also known as the “Pink City”, visit the famous Observatory named Jantar Mantar that has the world's largest sun dial or avail the services of a Spa at a 5 star hotel to feel rejuvenated. You can also visit the Amber Fort or go for shopping or get indulged into golfing at Rambagh Golf Club.
Later, proceed towards the City Palace or Jai Mahal Palace to enjoy the impressive elephant activities. You will get ample scope to spend time with these lovely creatures, painting them or feeding them can be included as per your wish, or you can simply go for the royal ride and then have a royal dinner. Return to the lavish Maharajas' Express. Open your eyes to the mesmerizing land of Bikaner, which will be your next destination.
Day 04 - Bikaner
Enjoy breakfast on-board in Maharajas' Express. On arriving at Bikaner, you can either relax on-board or may visit the Lalgarh Museum or the ancient rat temple at Deshnok. Pay a visit to Junagarh Fort, post lunch on-board. In the evening, enjoy the breath taking views of the sand dunes. On the way, have a tea break at Gajner Palace. Along with the sand dunes, enjoy barbeque, cocktails and folk dances.
Return back to the luxury train of Maharajas' Express.
Have a comfortable overnight stay on-board, while the train proceeds for Jodhpur.
Day 05 - Jodhpur
Enjoy breakfast on-board in Jodhpur. Either spend relaxed hours in the morning on-board or have a trip to Bishnoi village (if you wish and time permits) or you can enjoy the services of Spa at a 5 star hotel.
Go for sightseeing at Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaswant Thada or do shopping to your heart’s content. The Rajasthan luxury tour includes exploration of the city of Jodhpur after lunch. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort and then take a stroll to the Old Clock Tower market. Also have a fantastic joy ride on tuk-tuks. In the evening, be prepared for a royal cocktail treat at Hanwant Mahal along with cultural puppet show. Have a comfortable overnight stay on-board, while the train proceeds for Udaipur.
Day 06 - Udaipur
Breakfast is served on-board as you arrive in City of lakes, Udaipur.
Either relax on-board or avail the services of Spa at a 5 star hotel. It is recommended to go for a sound and light show. Enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola and then visit the City Palace along with the Crystal Gallery. Enjoy a royal lunch at Satkar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace.
Dinner will be served on-board, while the Maharajas' Express moves towards Balasinor (the land following African culture in Gujarat), which is the next destination of the tour.
Day 07 - Balasinor
Have an on-board breakfast and arrive at Sevalia Railway Station. Proceed towards Dinosaur Fossil Park. Then have a leisure walking tour through the village. Later proceed for Garden Palace, Balasinor and be a part of an exclusive lunch hosted by the Royal Family of Balasinor. Return back to embark the luxurious Maharajas' Express. Enjoy the spirits of India in the evening or in other words have a wonderful "Indian Evening" being on the Maharaja' Express. Have a delicious regal dinner.
Day 08 - Mumbai
Maharajas' Express has created a name for itself with this luxury tour of Rajasthan, Agra and Gujarat. After enjoying your breakfast on-board, you will find yourself at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai (the land of Bollywood). With this you will have to bid goodbye to the Maharajas' Express, the pride of Indian luxury tourism!
