Package Itinerary

Day 01 - Mangalore

Meet on arrival at Mangalore Airport and transfer to Hotel. After resting for a bit head out to see the magnificent city of Mangalore. Visit the Kadri Manjunath Temple known for its bronze statues. Its Catholic sites include Milagres Church, dating to the 17th century, and St. Aloysious Chapel, which features interior paintings. In the evening visit the Tannirbhavi Beach so as to experience the splendid view of the sun setting into the night sky.

Day 02 - Mangalore

After breakfast head out to visit the Mangaladevi Temple as established in the 9th century by the King of the Ahepa dynasty. The best time to visit the temple is during the Navratra before Dussehra when the festivities at the temple are at their peak. Also visit the Gokarnanatheshwara Temple - The temple’s architecture is more akin to the Dravidian style and features a golden colored gopuram which is 60 feet high and is decorated with stucco figures. The temple features some exquisite works of rock carving and sculpting and is a must visit during the major Hindu festivals. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 03 - Mangalore to Gokarna (231kms - 4hrs 30mins)

After breakfast check out and head off to Gokarna. On arrival in Gokarna check into your hotel. Rest for a bit before heading out to explore this city. Visit the Mahabaleshwara Temple - a Shiva Linga known as the Atmalinga is worshipped in this Mahabaleshwar temple. Built using white granite, it is a classic example of the beauty of Dravidian architecture. A 1500 years old carved stone Lord Shiva idol in the standing position represents the main deity. Also visit the Om Beach famous for being naturally shaped like the auspicious symbol Om.

Day 04 - Gokarna

After breakfast spend a nice peaceful day at your hotel. In the evening you can head out to shop in the city.

Day 05 - Gokarna to Karwar (61.1kms - 1hr 15mins)

After breakfast check out and head off to Karwar. On arrival in Karwar check into your hotel later in the day head out to visit the Dargah of Peer Shan Shamsuddin Kharobat - the Dargah is named after and dedicated to a Baghdadi saint. Known as the Pir Fort by the Portuguese, devotees come here to have their wishes fulfilled. Also visit the Sadashivgad Hill Fort.

Day 06 - Karwar

After breakfast enjoy the day shopping and sitting on the beach.

Day 07 - Karwar to Goa (85.4kms - 2hrs)

After breakfast check out and drive to Goa. Check into your hotel in Goa. Proceed for half day tour, visit Cabo da Rama - named after Rama, the hero of the Hindu epic Ramayana, who, along with his wife Sita stayed here during his exile from Ayodhya.

Day 08 - Goa

After breakfast visit the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church - the Church conducts mass every day in English, Konkani, and Portuguese. You can also visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Visit the Aguada Fort - This is the largest and the best-preserved Portuguese bastion in Goa. You can spend the rest of the day shopping on the roads of Goa.
